The rope used to make our Mechanically Swaged Cable Laid Slings consists of six individual wire ropes, each composed of multiple strands around a steel core. This produces a sling with extreme flexibility. The sling is kink resistant and recommended where the sling will subjected to severe bending. Cable Laid slings are not recommended where severe abrasion is a serious factor in sling life.
